Applications must be submitted before December 19, 2025. All documents in pdf format must be submitted online. The competition is open to only for-profit businesses located in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota and Kansas. Finalists of the Pitch Black competition must become members of the Midlands African Chamber.

Disclaimer: Travel and Expenses

Participants in the Pitch Black competition are responsible for all costs associated with travel to and from any in-person events related to the competition. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation, lodging, and meals. The Pitch Black competition will not be responsible for covering or reimbursing any travel or related expenses. Participants are advised to plan and budget accordingly for all travel-related costs.
